Individual coaching goals typically encompass two areas:

Communication Skills:

Fine-tuning individual communication skills to be more effective in leadership roles and team building is the most common professional goal that comes up.  Learning how to engage and interact with diverse cultures that coexist within the corporate and academic structures is also very important. Choice of words and delivery of message as well as enhancing active listening skills are an integral part of this process. Mastering verbal and non verbal techniques to engage, motivate, influence, communicate decisions and connect are part of the effective skill enhancement process. Inner communication or self talk has a direct correlation to how we approach any decision or interaction.  Learning to internally reframe to seek focus, presence and clarity has a major influence on how we externally communicate.  Vocal presence is an important key to effective communication and learning to speak in range; eradicate vocal fry and improve projection leads to powerful, effective interactions.   Accent modification and the nuances of establishing rapport and ensuring that the message the speaker would like to come through is being achieved is a goal with both native and non-native english speakers.

PUBLIC SPEAKING & STORYTELLING:

Public speaking skill development  includes creating an authentic, impactful delivery; reducing anxiety; improving presence and confidence while creating a meaningful, memorable narrative.  Outcomes are based on the speaker's ability to not only provide information but create an engaging experience for the listener.  Goals include mastering confidence, presence, storytelling and delivery to result in meaningful, memorable, relatable connections with the audience.
